Impact
Do we impact one another?
Is there cause and effect?
I wonder not, this Sunday morn,
As idea manifests.
Linear mind narrates a tale:
“I did this because of that
And if it weren’t for this and this
I would not be where I’m at…”
But this, we know, is non-sense,
For impact nor effect is not what we experience,
When we are Now,
In a state of thoughtlessness.
We experience instead,
Wordless thing, being.
We experience instead,
What is, is-ing.
Then - now - simultaneously,
Comes unto us all suddenly,
Moves through us spontaneously,
A word, a vision, an action, anew,
”Because of this?
Because of that?
Because of me?
Because of you?”
Explanations, rationalisations,
Narrations, justifications, personalisations,
Matter only to the nattering mind.
Composing why or how Now be,
Detracts from the ability
To be with what be
Now, in its simplicity.
We, in total Now-ness;
An experience free of divide,
Are unimpacted, unaffected, uncaused;
We are at one with life.
