Wanting

A song doesn’t want us to dance,

We just move when it plays.

A waterfall doesn’t want us to bathe,

We just jump in when it rains.

A cat doesn’t want us to nap,

We just melt where it lays.

A tree doesn’t want us to rest,

We just relax where it shades.

Do what you do,
Say what you say,

In a state of love,

And another will move, jump in, melt, relax,

In your presence, naturally.

For only when we stop wanting and start loving,

Can we, thus another, know love, actually.
