Distractions Don't Exist

It became clear recently that distractions don't exist!

There appears to be an attraction - a draw - an ongoing, unbreaking flow of moving towards...

To say something is a distraction is to say that what is focused upon should not be focused upon - that it would be 'better' to not be doing 'this', and instead be doing 'that'.

To claim something would be 'better' involves having/holding a belief that one thing is inherently more valuable than another. But, when the mind is not active, it's clear that everything has equal value.

What is attractive, or being focused upon, now, is simply that.

If the eyes look at a tree, and then the sky, that does not mean 'I' am 'distracting' myself from the tree - the eyes are simply not focusing on it anymore. Too, the tree is not bothered by 'these eyes' not paying it attention - for it has no ego.

To be peaceful is to be like the tree in this example. And to discontinue using the concept of 'distraction', which is not real.
