Spiritual Guidance

There comes a point when a pursuit of inner peace supersedes external goal fulfilment. It is at this point that one can gain - or lose - the most from working with a spiritual teacher.

Sessions are intended to be unburdening. What is unburdening at any moment will depend on the individual, as each individual will be ready/keen to see and remove certain 'weights' at certain times.

Freeing for one person, for example, may be to recognise that 'values' are not real, and defining/having/living by values is a barrier to knowing themselves. Free from the concept of values, their focus is on the experience/sense of a situation, rather than what the mind is telling them to do in the limiting context of 'living up to their values'.

For many, distinguishing between what is and what things look like, is a major area of spiritual development. For example, there are many behaviours that whilst look/are labelled nice, kind or positive, are experienced as controlling, manipulative, wanting etc.

Whatever we explore, the point is that we connect - with ourselves, each other and anything that comes to light. As we connect, we experience peace, love, joy with/through 'the other', and the heaviest burden of all - the burden of separation - dissolves into the connection.

There's no charge for sessions.
